Christina Ochoa hails from Spain and is an actor. Also, she is a marine scientist, author producer and writer. She is also the granddaughter of Nobel laureate Severo. Ochoa was brought up in a home that encouraged both her talents as a scientist and artist. Following her graduation, which led her across Spain to Australia and America, she became an active social media based science educator. She has been a host and keynote speaker at numerous scientific events and web-shows. It was then that she realized acting was her thing rather than scientific research. Ochoa started performing initially in the interest of a hobby, and later moved to Madrid to further her grasp of the field and possibly land a few parts. Her debut was on television in 2008 when she appeared on the comedy series La que se avecina. She has since appeared in many television shows as well as on stage. In her capacity as a writer, she has been a frequent contributor to Vogue Spain, H, and El Imparcial magazines. The actress became a Mensa member in 2009.
